The Mersey Forest Trust

The Mersey Forest Trust was set up in November 1999 to assist the continued development of The Mersey Forest.

The Mersey Forest Trust has a number of objectives, all of which are designed to help The Mersey Forest to grow and give more local people the opportunity to benefit from the Forest's work.

The Mersey Forest Trusts key areas of work are:

• Generating community involvement in The Forest's work and in their local environment
• Purchase areas of land for The Mersey Forest to be turned into community woodland
• Raise funds to help make Forest projects a reality

The Mersey Forest Trust also administers grants for projects that help to realise The Mersey Forest vision. For further information about these grants or the work of The Mersey Forest please click here.

The Mersey Forest Trust is the working name of Mersey Forest Company Ltd. A non-profit making company limited by guarantee.
