What will we do on a Green Corporate Day?
Over the course of a day your team will work together to make
a significant improvement to a woodland area or green space.
Due to the bespoke nature of our Green Corporate Days packages
no two days are the same, as we strive to create a day of site
based activities to suit the different needs of each company.
Our skilled staff will talk you through the options available
for your Green Corporate Day, and the activities offered may
include tree planting, woodland management or other site based
improvement tasks. These will vary to match your requirements,
the season and the needs of the woodland or green space, but
all the tasks offered make a significant improvement to the area,
with an array of benefits to both wildlife and local communities.
Where do Green Corporate Days take place?
Green Corporate Days take place in a range of woodland and green
space sites across the Red Rose Forest area in Greater Manchester.
The site for your day will be chosen to cater for the tasks offered
and to ensure that the work will make a significant improvement
to the area.
What clothes should I wear?
You need to come sensibly dressed
for a day of outdoor activity, bearing in mind the time
of year and the day’s weather
forecast. You may get wet and muddy during the day, so we would
advise you not to wear anything that you wouldn’t
like to get dirty.
We advise an extra layer of clothing, a waterproof jacket and
trousers, and a change of clothes if you are heading out somewhere
after the day. If it’s hot
and sunny, we advise that you bring sunhats and sunscreen.
We also advise that you bring insect repellent.
Red Rose Forest will provide protective gloves for you to use
during the practical tasks.
What shoes should I wear?
Please wear flat-heeled outdoor footwear or sturdy boots.
Do I need any woodland management
training or skills to go on a Green Corporate Day?
No, you do not need any prior woodland management training or
knowledge to take part on a Green Corporate Day. Our skilled
staff will talk you through the tasks and be on hand to supervise
throughout the day. All we require from you is lots of enthusiasm!
How many Red Rose Forest staff members will supervise
our Green Corporate Day?
There will always be a minimum of two Red Rose Forest staff
members on each Green Corporate Day. The number of Red Rose Forest
staff members will increase if there are a large number of attendees,
as we always ensure that there are enough staff members to adequately
supervise and lead the day. At least one qualified first aider
will be present at every Green Corporate Day event.
How many people can attend a Green Corporate Day?
There is a minimum requirement of 10 attendees for each Green
Corporate Day but we do not have any restrictions for the maximum
that can attend. If you would like to discuss your requirements
for a Green Corporate Day please contact us on 0161 872 1660
or greencorporatedays@redroseforest.co.uk and
we will be happy to discuss this with you.
How much will a Green Corporate Day cost?
The cost of each Green Corporate
Day will vary because of the bespoke package of activities
offered. As a guide, prices start from around £75
(+VAT) per person, and vary according to the programme
of events and number of participants attending. A quote
for your Green Corporate Day can be obtained by calling

and run the day for your team. The fee you pay also covers insurance,
