The green tips project is a partnership between Red Rose Forest (RRF), Enventure Ltd., supported by greater Manchester Waste Ltd.(GMW) and Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority (GMWDA). It is funded mainly from Landfill Tax Credits made available to Enventure by the Greater Manchester Landfill Tax credit Scheme (Greening Greater Manchester). The balance of the project funding is met by monies made available by GNW /GNWDA. Greening Greater Manchester is itself a partnership between Biffa Waste Services Limited (formerly UK Waste Management Limited), the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA, Groundwork North West).
