Supporting the forest

Dedicated bench in a field

There are a host of ways to support the vital work of Red Rose Forest. Any gift that you can give will help to ensure the work of Red Rose Forest continues. You can dedicate a tree, make a donation, get involved in company giving or leave a legacy.

Click on the links on the left for more information.

Dedicate a tree

Dedicating a Tree is a great way to celebrate the events and milestones in your family's lives. By dedicating a tree in your local forest, you are ensuring the creation and management of community woodlands on your doorstep.

You can dedicate a tree in one of our woodlands across Greater Manchester from £15 per tree. You will receive a certificate with a personalised message on, in a presentation pack, along with a map to the woodland, a postcard and a seed-pack so that you can go out and plant your own trees as well.

To find out more about dedicate a tree, and a list of our woodlands and prices please visit our Dedicate a Tree website.

Company Giving

Red Rose Forest offers businesses the opportunity to get involved in various projects, from getting your team out in the fresh air improving an area of community woodland, to sponsoring a tree planting scheme, or dedicating a tree for each delegate attending your conference or event.

The environment is becoming an increasingly important consideration for the corporate world, and there are many benefits to be had from working in partnership with your local Forest. You can help to deliver real social and environmental benefits in your area whilst demonstrating your environmental ethics and meeting your Corporate Social Responsibility objectives.

Take a look below at the different ways you can get involved. If you would like to discuss any of these in more detail, or have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch, call Jess Boyle on 0161 872 1660 or email

Dedicate an Acre

For £2,000 your company can dedicate an acre - about the size of a small football pitch - of newly planted woodland. This will be great for your CSR targets, and will create a lasting legacy on the landscape. You are welcome to come out and visit the woodland, and we will try to get a photo call to mark your dedication. Please visit dedicateatree.org for more information.

Corporate Events

Sponsor a forest project

We have many projects running, and projects we'd like to have running, where you can make a real difference. These range from planting street trees in residential streets, to redesigning a school playground, to projects centred on healthy eating, and more. Your company can help to make these projects happen. Please visit cfnw.org for more information.
