Green schools

School children enjoying planting activity, Clifton Gre

Would you like to make your school a greener, healthier, and more attractive environment to learn in?

Trees and greenery are an excellent way to improve the learning environment adding seasonal colour and interest and brining nature to your doorstep. Red Rose Forest has been working with school across Greater Manchester for over 10 years to do just this.

There are many benefits that trees and greenery can bring to your school including providing a setting for environmental education and encouraging children to engage with the natural environment, developing a more attractive school environment and promoting a sense of well-being and school pride, as well as reducing local temperatures on hot days, reducing energy consumption and noise pollution and improving local air quality.

Red Rose Forest has worked with a number of schools across Greater Manchester on projects including tree planting, hedge planting, bulb and wildflower planting.
