Woodland support for landowners

Crank Wood, Leigh

The support of landowners and farmers is vital to the success of the Forest.

If you are a landowner you can contribute to the success for the Forest by diversyfing your land with woodland. In turn this can add value to your land by increasing the capital value of your land, make more attractive landscapes and attracting capital grants that you may otherwise not be eligible for.

Red Rose Forest can offer you advice and support to help you incorporate trees within your holding and can also offer a free and impartial advisory service in preparing funding applications for the English Woodland Grant Scheme and Environmental Stewardship Scheme.
