Dainwell Woods

Dainewell Woods are a cluster of new woodlands, planted in Carrington, Trafford, which has been created by Red Rose Forest and Shell Chemicals UK Limited.

It spreads over 40 hectares - about 40 football pitches - and includes areas of open meadow, wetlands, a network of paths, bridle and cycle ways and over 100,000 trees including oak, cherry and ash.

Dainwell Woods is a fabulous place to visit with the family. To help you get started, there are three self guided walks of different lengths offering easy, level walking.
