Certification of an area of woodland proves that it is being managed in the most environmentally, socially and economically responsible way. Certification is vital for keeping the region's woodlands in tip-top condition and seen as a badge of quality, it can be a real business boost for small woodlands.

The Red Rose Forest Woodland Certification scheme is helping local woodland owners to attain certification. We can provide advice, contacts and access to Government grants to make the Certification process easier.
